The State of Impact: 2024-2034
The State of Impact is a 10-year research project in partnership with the anti-trafficking sector in the United States. Our goals for the project are twofold: to determine the anti-trafficking sector’s approach to measuring outcomes and impact evaluation, and to catalyze momentum for our collective efforts to evolve as an impact-oriented sector.
2024 marked the launch of The State of Impact, with a baseline survey collecting data from 94 organizations across 32 states, representing approximately one-third of the sector (anti-trafficking organizations with a mission-statement dedicated to addressing human trafficking).
Methodology
We partner with organizations to learn about their approach to impact evaluation, how they prioritize impact, the opportunities and challenges related to impact evaluation, and how we can accelerate impact in the sector. We learn about existing strengths and gaps in resources to support evaluation within organizations and across the sector.
Partners
Our primary audiences for The State of Impact are funders interested in investing in the anti-trafficking field. Across the 10-year period, we will engage these partners to imagine a collaborative of supporters passionate about transforming the sector through collective impact efforts.
This approach is co-created with our impact partners in the anti-trafficking sector:
